Franco Sanguinetti Sensei's 51 years of martial arts experience is invaluable in imparting important values to his students. His experience originated and evolved through teaching children at day care centers, elementary schools; from teaching children and young adults at his dojo (martial arts school) and other dojos as well as from teaching young adults at universities and colleges and private companies within the USA. Sanguinetti Sensei's reputation across the world has also grown through his long years spreading the positive values of the traditional martial arts bringing as a result having martial arts schools affiliated across the globe in 13 countries. His main goal is to improve our community, through his students, by teaching them respect and peaceful behavior. Sanguinetti Sensei strongly believe that the core values of the traditional martial arts can make a tremenduous difference in the growing process of our children setting a positive influence on them. That is why he start teaching children as early as three years old. Franco Sanguinetti Sensei is Chief Instructor of the Bushikan Karate Dojo and Matayoshi Kobudo Kodokan International. He has conducted seminars in Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bermuda, Chile, Colombia, Denmark, England, Germany, India, Japan, Mexico, Perú, Spain, USA and Venezuela. Most important to understand is that Martial arts training often goes beyond physical techniques and can instill a wide range of personal and philosophical values. Discipline: Martial arts require a high level of discipline, both in training and in life. Sanguinetti Sensei emphasized the importance of self-control, regular practice, and dedication to achieving one's goals in a traditional manner. Respect: Respect for instructors, fellow students, and opponents is a fundamental value in martial arts. Sanguinetti Sensei teaches his students how to bow, show humility, and treat others with courtesy and respect. Perseverance: Martial arts can be physically and mentally challenging. Sanguinetti Sensei encourages his students to persevere through difficulties, setbacks, and moments of self-doubt. Self-Confidence: As students progress in their training and master new techniques, their self-confidence typically grows. Sanguinetti Sensei help his students to build confidence in their abilities, both in martial arts and in their everyday lives. Focus and Concentration: Martial arts training demands intense focus and concentration. Sanguinetti Sensei teaches his students to learn how to block out distractions and stay fully present in the moment, a skill that can benefit them in various aspects of life. Physical Fitness: Sanguinetti Sensei emphasized the importance of physical fitness and overall health. Regular training and conditioning can lead to improved fitness levels and well-being. Humility: Despite their achievements, martial artists learn the value of humility. Sanguinetti Sensei help his students to understand that there is always more to learn and that there will always be someone more skilled. Integrity: Martial arts always stress the importance of honesty, integrity, and doing what is morally right. Sanguinetti Sensei constantly teaches his students to conduct themselves inside and outside the dojo (martial arts school) with the upmost level of integrity possible. Conflict Resolution: Many martial arts teach techniques for resolving conflicts peacefully and avoiding unnecessary violence. This value can be applied in various life situations. Sanguinetti Sensei always teaches his students that "the best fight is the no fight". Community and Camaraderie: Martial arts schools often foster a sense of community and camaraderie among students. Sanguinetti Sensei always encourages his students to support and help each other both inside and outside the dojo; his daily approach is that himself and his students are a Family. Goal Setting: Setting and achieving goals is a significant part of martial arts training. Sanguinetti Sensei promotes among his students to set realistic goals and work methodically toward achieving them. He works closely with the student's school, and parent(s) to help him/her achieve school success. Leadership: Over time, advanced students in martial arts often take on leadership roles, helping to teach and guide newer practitioners. This experience can develop leadership skills and a sense of responsibility. Sanguinetti Sensei constantly work with his students giving the necessary tools to learn to be leaders not only at the dojo interacting with other students, but also outside at their communities.
