Teaching respect, humility, meditation and peaceful resolution is necessary and a significant thread in every seminar.

Skill Development: These seminars may focus on specific techniques, forms (katas), sparring, self-defense, and or other aspects of karate training.

Knowledge Sharing: This can include insights into advanced techniques, strategies, the philosophy of karate, appropriate training terminology using the Japanese language.

Our Style: While Karate encompasses various styles and approaches, such as Shotokan, Wado-Ryu, and more, Franco Sanguinetti Sensei focuses on Goju-Ryu and Matayoshi Kobudo Seminars introducing participants to their rich traditions, history and culture. Matayoshi Kobudo is a general term referring to the style of Okinawan Kobudo that was developed by Matayoshi Shinpo (又吉眞豊) and Matayoshi Shinko (又吉眞光) during the twentieth century. Martial arts have been practiced by the Matayoshi family for over nine generations and draw influence from Japanese, Chinese and indigenous Okinawan martial arts styles.

Networking and Community Building: Seminars bring together karate practitioners from different dojos, schools, regions and countries. This fosters networking opportunities and helps build a sense of community within the broader karate world.

Cultural and Historical Understanding: Karate seminars include elements of Japanese culture and history, as karate has its roots in Japan. Participants may learn about the cultural aspects that influence karate and gain a deeper understanding of its history.

Self-Defense and Personal Safety: Some karate seminars focus on practical self-defense techniques that can be useful for real-life situations. These seminars may appeal to individuals interested in personal safety and self-defense skills.

Continuing Education: Sanguinetti Sensei uses seminars as a form of continuing education to have practitioners of all levels stay updated on the latest developments in the martial art and to refine skills over time. He also conducts monthly online meetings to keep in touch with instructors of his organization and to continue their education so that they, in turn, share the information with their students. Budo is alive and constantly changing and improving.

Ultimately, Sanguinetti Sensei's seminars serve practitioners of all levels, from beginners to advanced black belts, and they offer a valuable opportunity for growth and enrichment within the world of martial arts.
